Linsey Wellman is an in-demand musician for his talents on the alto and soprano saxophones, the flute and the alto flute, and the bass clarinet. Known as a spontaneous and creative improviser, he has played and recorded with a diverse group of musicians including Rob Frayne, Pierre-Yves Martel, Petr Cancura, Ellen McIlwaine and Yves Lambert. His musical exploits have taken him as far as the Théatre Mohammed V in Rabat (Morocco), the Centre Culturel Bir Lahjar in Tunis (Tunisia), the Lincoln Centre in New York City and Festival au Désert in Essakane (Mali). He is currently living in Ottawa.
